A quick few previews of a shoot from last week, mostly around the exciting new developments at Spitalfields Market. Some amazing new buildings are going up almost daily and it's nice to just walk about and look up. Here's some I've already retouched..

I'm now starting to get more modelling and portrait shoots under my belt and have added some studio lights to my kit. These are only basic ones but enable me to try different lighting effects and get some great shots. Recently I used them to photograph Joanna again, this time in a hotel. I also shot another model out and about London, and have some more fashion shoots in the pipeline. See the Models page for Joanna's latest, and more as they are finished!

I can now be found on the Model Mayhem site, one of the premier resources for fashion and portrait photography. As my work is now moving in this direction, it seemed natural to become part of the community there, both for the great resources and promotional opportunities.

Over the last week I was lucky enough to work with two great models, Joanna and Natalia.

Joanna's shoot took place in the local woods, avoiding the mud and wet dogs of course! The next day I took Natalia to the beautiful Winkworth Arboretum near Godalming in Surrey. The trees and flowers are stunning at any time of year but the spring bluebells looked fantastic! Hope you enjoy these previews, more to follow.

These images are from a recent charity rugby match I covered. My cousin Gary (that's him making a tackle in the first pic and also in the last one) is 40 years old this month and is attempting 40 challenges for two worthy charities.
